  • ‚NO SQUARE FOR A PROTEST‘

“No square for a protest” refers to the adapted Habitus on Havana’s streets off Revolution Square. When photographing workers asphalting a stretch of street, a passerby dressed in military trousers suddenly interfered.
He wanted to stop the recording and threatened to call the police: “I insisted on continuing filming and wanted to start a conversation with him. So I told him that I also grew up in a socialist country. Then he said that I should know that filming was forbidden and that that was certainly the case in Yugoslavia too.
