The project was the winner of art in public space competition for a huge professional school for metalworkers. The work „mass of the class“ symbolizes the school class as a collective and the importance of each person as well as the reflection on power.

The participation and actions of the students are weighted and statements are assigned to her actual mass. Therefore a scale is installed under the sculpture (a seat construction which is formed like a cube) and the weight of the individuals is decoded in quotes, which are projected on a monitor.
